Feng Li

Feng Li (李丰, often called "丰叔") is the founding partner of FreeS Fund (峰瑞资本), the early-stage Chinese VC firm he established in 2015 with a focus on consumer, hard tech, and biomed . Before founding FreeS he was a partner and investment committee member at IDG Capital, and across his career he has backed companies including Yirendai, Liulishuo, 360 Finance, Bilibili, Three Squirrels, and Unity ; the Three Squirrels relationship dates to a late-2011 meeting with founder Larry Zhang in Ningguo, Anhui, where both agreed e-commerce would spawn new brands . More recently he has become a public voice on China's macro and tech outlook through "高能量," a podcast column he co-hosts with business writer Li Xiang . He holds a chemistry bachelor's from Peking University and a master's from the University of Rochester .
