Flexiv (非夕科技) is a general-purpose intelligent robotics company founded in 2016 by 王世全 and several Stanford alumni, including researchers from Stanford's Bionic and Dexterous Manipulation Laboratory and AI Laboratory . The company pioneered the "adaptive robot" category, building on a "human-like" philosophy that translates human tactile sense into industrial-grade force control and hand-eye coordination into hierarchical AI systems . Its core product is a general-purpose intelligent base platform enabling adaptive robots to perform dexterous operations in unstructured environments, with applications spanning automotive, 3C electronics, food processing, biotech, and medical industries .

The company reached unicorn status after its 2022 B+ round, at a valuation of $1 billion , and has since raised a $100 million+ Series C in June 2025 co-led by Yonggui Fund and GF Xinde Investment Management , followed by a new funding round in March 2026 led by global long-term capital Invus . ZhenFund (真格基金), an early investor from the 2017 Series A, has continued to back the company through these rounds .

Flexiv has also strategically incubated Noematrix Intelligence (穹彻智能), an embodied AI startup founded in 2023 focused on general embodied intelligence technology . In March 2026, Flexiv held its "FLEXIVERSE 2026" annual strategy launch in Shanghai, unveiling new products including the Enlight series adaptive robots and the Orion controller architecture, positioning itself as a core infrastructure provider for the general intelligence era .
