Frank Wang

Frank Wang (玉伯 / Yu Bo) is the founder of YouMind, an AI creative platform he has positioned as a community play rather than a pure tool — drawing deliberately on the GitHub trajectory of starting small and expanding outward . He came to the venture after roughly fifteen years in major Chinese tech companies, including a stint as a senior product leader at Alibaba that one profile characterized as "rebellious" . The product itself is framed as something of a contrarian bet: "anti-human" in design, in his own description, and deliberately "small and beautiful" at launch despite investor skepticism . His public reflections suggest a founder increasingly disenchanted with AI industry hype even as he builds inside it — what AI闹 tagged as "growing disenchanted, growing contrarian" . YouMind 0.3 had just gone live when he began formal fundraising conversations in early 2025 .
