Future Capital

Future Capital (明势资本) is an early-stage tech venture fund founded in July 2014 by Mingming Huang, who left angel investing to set it up . Its calling-card deal is being the earliest institutional investor in Li Auto — Huang himself framed new-energy vehicles as the intersection of the energy, information, and AI revolutions, saying "if you miss new energy, you miss an era" . In the AI wave it moved early too: in 2022 it backed LLM company MiniMax and humanoid robotics firm LimX Dynamics , and its early AI portfolio also includes LiblibAI, which 十字路口Crossing cited alongside MiniMax as evidence that the fund "kept investing early and continued building in upstream, harder-tech supply chains" . 暗涌Waves has also noted it's among the few Chinese firms to have raised Middle Eastern capital . On the people side, Ling Xia is a current partner , while Neil Zeng was formerly a partner before joining Linear Capital .
