Gestalt Technology (格式塔科技, also known as Gestala) is a Chinese hard-tech company focused on ultrasound-based brain-computer interfaces, founded by Peng Lei with backing from Shanda Group . It positions itself as the first domestic company dedicated to this specific BCI approach. In March 2026, the company raised a 150 million yuan angel round co-led by Dalton Venture (道彤投资), which at the time set a record for China's BCI sector . Just four months later, it closed a 420 million yuan angel+ round led by Huaying Capital, with Dalton doubling down alongside follow-on investors including C Capital, Sequoia China, Lens Technology, and others . Concurrent with the July 2026 round, Gestalt inaugurated its Shanghai headquarters to complement its Chengdu base, forming a dual-headquarters structure .
