Hao Cheng

Hao Cheng is the founder and CEO of Booster Robotics (加速进化), a Chinese humanoid-robotics startup. A Tsinghua University graduate with a master's degree, he spent two decades in robotics before founding the company, including a stint as Vice President of Product at ByteDance's Feishu . His academic mentor, Zhao Mingguo, a Tsinghua automation researcher and director of the university's brain-inspired robotics center, serves as Booster's chief scientist . Cheng has framed Booster's mission as building an "embodied AI company that's still here in ten years" rather than chasing short-term trends, with near-term focus on mass-producing reliable hardware and proving out the business model before advancing to computing units and robot operating systems .
