Harvest Capital (加华资本) is an investment fund led by Song Xiangqian (宋向前) as founding partner and chairman . Song was described by 暗涌Waves as "probably the most expressive and output-hungry primary-market investor of 2023," having given at least seven media interviews, written multiple articles, and produced over 130 video episodes that year . In that role he has publicly challenged fintech models he considers mischaracterized—such as Drip Capital's "non-equity, non-debt" structure, which he argued was essentially lending —and has advocated for finance to serve real industry, warning against over-concentration on tech at the expense of consumption's importance to the national economy . The fund is distinct from similarly named peers: 丰年资本 (also "Harvest Capital" in English), a tech-focused fund that scored a multi-billion-IPO with Dameng Data in June 2024 , and Gaorong Capital (高榕资本/高榕创投), which renamed itself in early 2024 .
