He Wang is the founder and CTO of Galaxy Universal (银河通用), a Beijing-based embodied-intelligence robotics startup he established in May 2023 . He holds a bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University's Department of Electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. from Stanford, and previously taught in Peking University's School of Computer Science . He remains affiliated with PKU as an assistant professor and Ph.D. adviser at the Frontiers Computing Center, and serves as director of the PKU–Galaxy Universal Joint Lab on Embodied Intelligence . BlueRun Ventures, an early backer, describes him as "one of China's top researchers in robot AI" .
