Per 5Y Capital's 2021 reporting, the company traces back to 2015 with the launch of its cloud-native data collaboration product Huoban Cloud Spreadsheet, and by 2021 it had spent over RMB 500 million on R&D across more than 10,000 product iterations . The platform positions itself as a "digital toy for a new generation of managers," using an aPaaS underlying system to let business users build management systems without coding—claiming five minutes to create an app, three hours to deliver a business scenario, and five days for a full dashboard . Its data-driven approach, rather than traditional BPM process management, allows real-time interactive dashboards for metrics like sales conversion and employee task rankings .

The company raised a $17 million Series B in May 2021 co-led by 5Y Capital and Sequoia China, with Challenjers Venture Capital participating, followed by a $40 million B+ round in December 2021 that brought in Trustbridge Partners, YiLian Capital, and Belle Consumer Fund while existing backers added to their positions . At that time it counted over 2.4 million enterprise users daily, with customers including Yuanqi Forest, Pop Mart, NIO, Beike, and Bestore, and reported roughly 4x year-on-year ARR growth . It also held the distinction of being the only five-star-rated no-code platform on WeCom's app marketplace .
