Inming Biotech

Inming Biotech (炎明生物, Pyrotech Therapeutics) is a Chinese biotech co-founded by Academician Feng Shao and Dr. Tianjing Deng . It announced its angel round in July 2021, with FreeS Fund participating , and in 2024 closed a Series A+ of several hundred million yuan, in which FreeS Fund continued to add to its position . FreeS has listed it among its portfolio of high-growth innovative companies alongside XtalPi and PatPat , and partner Feng Li counts it among his notable bets .

A note of caution: "Inming" is a name shared by two different companies in elsewhere's corpus — the 炎明生物 described above, and 因明生物 (MingMed), a separate Guangzhou-based first-in-class drug developer founded in October 2019 that raised a ~$60M Series A and ~$50M A+ led by Gaorong Capital in 2021 . The funding details in that second thread belong to MingMed, not to Pyrotech; beyond the rounds above, elsewhere's corpus has little on Pyrotech's pipeline or valuation.
