Jiajin Bio (迦进生物) is a Chinese biotech startup developing antibody-oligo conjugate (AOC) drugs — using conjugation to deliver small nucleic acids to tissues beyond the liver — and is among the first domestic companies in this niche, per FreeS Fund, which describes it as a leading player in the field in China . Founder and CEO Hao Wu (吴昊) holds a bachelor's from Tsinghua University and a PhD from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, with prior stints at NGM, Novo Nordisk, WuXi Biologics, Deerfield, and 6 Dimensions Capital . The company raised a tens-of-millions RMB angel round in late 2022, co-led by Matrix Partners China and FreeS Fund , and completed a further round in mid-2024 . It remains in FreeS's portfolio as of early 2025 .
