Jiao Da-Yunqi AI Angel Fund

The Jiao Da-Yunqi AI Angel Fund (交大-云启AI天使基金) is an early-stage investment vehicle co-launched by Yunqi Capital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University's School of Artificial Intelligence, and SJTU's Industrial Technology Innovation Research Institute . Announced in April 2025, it targets AI-related startups with ties to university research and alumni networks—not only SJTU but also Tsinghua, Peking University, Fudan, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences . As of July 2026, the fund has invested in over a dozen projects spanning world models, multimodal interaction, AI4S, quantum computing, photonic computing, brain-computer interfaces, and nuclear fusion . One disclosed bet is Poke Robotics, a home robotics startup where the fund participated in a multi-million-dollar angel round led by Yunqi in April 2026 .
