JiuZhou Cloud Arrow (九州云箭) is a Beijing-based reusable rocket propulsion service provider founded in 2017 by partners including Liu Yang and Ji Fenglai, with FreeS Fund as its angel investor . The company designs, develops, assembles and tests liquid rocket engines and complete propulsion systems, positioning itself as a "State-owned aerospace veteran" serving both commercial and national large-scale rocket programs . Its flagship "Lingyun" liquid oxygen-methane engine was designed from inception for recovery and reuse, featuring deep throttling capability (30-100%) and multiple restart capability . After a decade of development, the company completed its B2 funding round in early 2026, with FreeS Fund noting that its technology and market leadership in recoverable LOX/methane engines has gained preliminary recognition from the market and investment community .
