JiuZhou Cloud Arrow (九州云箭) is a Beijing-based commercial aerospace company specializing in reusable liquid oxygen-liquid methane rocket engines and propulsion system services . Founded by Ji Fenglai and a team of veteran state-sector aerospace engineers with more than a decade of hands-on experience in rocket design and production, the company positions itself as a "state-owned aerospace veteran" serving both private launch vehicle makers and national large-scale rocket programs . Its intelligent assembly and test base is located in Bengbu, Anhui province, where it has built complete high- and low-pressure fluid test conditions plus engine hot-fire and subsystem test stands . FreeS Fund (峰瑞资本) was an angel-round investor and has continued to back the company through subsequent rounds, including a B2 round completed in early 2026 that drew in Chengdu Jiaozi Fund, Guotai Junan, and Cornerstone Capital among others . The company received military quality management system certification in 2020 as it moved toward batch production and delivery .
