Keenon Robotics

Keenon Robotics is a Shanghai-based service robotics company founded in 2010 by Tong Li, who remains its CEO . The company began with a focus on local-life unmanned delivery robots and has since grown into what Yunqi Capital describes as a "globally renowned service robotics enterprise" with over 100,000 robots deployed .

Its commercial breakthrough came with a major early order from Haidilao, for which it built the world's first smart restaurant—still operating with eight of its latest-generation robots . The company has since expanded into cleaning robotics, launching the C30 model alongside its T10 delivery robot in 2023 . Overseas growth has been a deliberate priority: Yunqi Capital and SoftBank helped connect Keenon with strategic partners including SoftBank Robotics Group and Hyundai to handle operations in Japan, Korea, and other markets .

On the funding side, Yunqi Capital was Keenon's first institutional investor, leading its Series A in 2016 . A subsequent RMB 200 million Series B in early 2020 was led by Source Code Capital, with participation from Hua Deng Capital and Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Fund . The company has also collaborated with Meituan and the China Hotel Association to deploy contactless delivery solutions in restaurants during the post-pandemic reopening period .
