Kunmai Medical

Kunmai Medical (昆迈医疗) is a Beijing-based brain science company founded in 2019, with a founding team from Peking University, focused on developing high-end biomagnetic imaging equipment — its core product being a next-generation quantum magnetoencephalography (MEG) system for whole-brain, non-invasive neural imaging . Per FreeS Fund's coverage, the company had, within about three years of founding, developed mass-producible high-sensitivity magnetic sensors and completed China's first research installation of a new-type quantum MEG system; its clinical product entered registration with regulatory approval and scaled clinical sales expected in 2023 . FreeS holds it up as a core part of its brain science portfolio, built on proprietary technology barriers such as atomic magnetometer miniaturization .
