Moffett AI (墨芯人工智能) is a Chinese AI chip company developing sparse-computing accelerators for large-model inference. It was founded in 2021 and counts ZhenFund as an early backer, having joined its Pre-A round that year and continued to support it through subsequent rounds . In May 2026, the company closed a nearly one billion yuan Series C round to mass-produce and commercialize its next-generation compute card, SparsePrime, and to expand its national computing-power network footprint . The same month, it was also named to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's artificial-intelligence standardization technical committee .
