Nan Fang

Nan Fang (方南) is the founder and CEO of Singleron Biotechnologies (新格元), a single-cell sequencing company she co-founded after serving as Global R&D Vice Director at QIAGEN's German headquarters, where she led development of over 20 research and clinical products including single-cell sequencing offerings and headed the GeneReader sequencing instrument project . Her academic background includes a PhD and an undergraduate degree at the University of Science and Technology of China, where her father also studied . In FreeS Fund's portrait of her, she described her approach as refusing to pursue anything that doesn't require her to "stand on tiptoe" to reach it . She has spoken at FreeS Fund investor summits on the clinical applications of single-cell sequencing technology .
