Qianfei Liu

Qianfei Liu is the founder and CEO of Zhuben (逐本), an aromatherapy skincare brand that raised two rounds totaling $50 million in funding as of early 2021 . She graduated from Fudan University in financial management and spent a year as an exchange student at UC Davis; before founding Zhuben, she was a partner and CFO at Matcha Beauty (抹茶美妆) and worked at Milestone Capital, where she led the $30 million Series B in Liren Lizhuang and developed supply-chain expertise by spending half a year in 2016 co-developing products with the original founder of Red Earth . In 5Y Capital's 2025 International Women's Day feature, she described her founding motivation as making aromatherapy lifestyle accessible at affordable prices, and noted she was then working to stabilize Zhuben's China business while validating a Xiaohongshu private-domain model .
