Qicong Chen

陈麒聪 is a co-founder and the CEO of 循环智能 (Recurrent AI), an AI software provider for enterprise marketing and customer service founded in 2016 . He met his co-founders 杨植麟 (Yang Zhilin) and 张宇韬 (Zhang Yutao) at Tsinghua University's Knowledge Engineering Laboratory, and all three came from technical backgrounds . While Yang served as chief scientist and Zhang as CTO, Chen held the CEO role . He later became a central figure in the dispute between 循环智能's former investors and Yang Zhilin's new venture 月之暗面 (Moonshot AI / Kimi), with conflicting accounts of whether Chen had initially approved or merely notified shareholders about the spin-off . In an interview, investor 朱啸虎 (Allen Zhu) noted that Chen's individual approval was insufficient for such a major asset separation, which required majority sign-off from all round's investors under company bylaws .
