Renshine Solar (仁烁光能) is a Suzhou-based perovskite solar cell developer led by Chairman Hairen Tan, a Nanjing University professor who has spent years in perovskite battery research . The company specializes in all-perovskite tandem cells and achieved a 29.0% steady-state photoelectric conversion efficiency certified by Japan's JET in early 2023, breaking its own prior world record of 28.0% set six months earlier .

Yunqi Capital was an early backer, making a first-round investment and participating in the Pre-A round, and the firm was listed among Yunqi's portfolio companies as of late 2022 . In January 2024, Renshine Solar closed a Series A round of hundreds of millions of RMB, with proceeds earmarked for upgrading and operating its self-designed 150MW perovskite production line incorporating more than 50 core patents . The company was also present at Yunqi's 2023 new-energy and digitization forum in Changzhou alongside Trina Solar and other industry players .
