Sperogenix (also known as Triastek, or 三迭纪 in Chinese) is a 3D-printed drug technology platform company founded by Dr. Cheng Senping . The company developed MED® (Melt Extrusion Deposition), a proprietary 3D printing technology for solid-dose pharmaceuticals that enables complex drug delivery and programmed release through digital formulation design . Its business model combines proprietary product development with partnership-based co-development, offering end-to-end solutions from research through manufacturing . Sperogenix has secured partnerships with major global pharmaceutical companies including Eli Lilly, Boehringer Ingelheim, Merck, Siemens, and Sperogen (formerly known as Sperogen), as well as domestic Chinese drugmakers . In September 2023, the company raised a 150 million yuan Pre-C round to accelerate commercialization , and by July 2024 it announced a technology platform collaboration with BioNTech valued at over $1.2 billion total .
