Supersonic Plan

Supersonic Plan (超音速计划) is a startup acceleration program co-launched by Agora and 5Y Capital in 2021, focused on early-stage companies in real-time engagement (RTE) — the infrastructure layer for live audio, video, and interactive applications . The program recruits cohorts of "agora startup fellows" through competitive application cycles, with its 2022 spring cohort explicitly targeting metaverse, IoT, and enterprise collaboration verticals .

Beyond capital, the program bundles substantial technical and go-to-market resources: Agora contributes millions of minutes of free audio-video calling credits, while ecosystem partners including AWS, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Rokid, and Cocos provide cloud infrastructure, hardware, and development tool discounts . Local support comes from incubators like TusStar (startup courses, tax and finance coaching) and regional innovation zones such as Shanghai Yangpu Dachuangzhi and Beijing Chaoyang OTEC, which offer landing incubation, cash awards, and policy guidance for demo-day winners .
