Taikang Life Insurance

Taikang Life Insurance is a Chinese life insurer whose asset management arm, Taikang Asset, has been active as a lead investor in venture deals. In November 2021 it led the over-200-million-RMB Series C1 round for data infrastructure startup StartDT (奇点云) , and it subsequently co-led the company's Series C round alongside Yuhang State Investment . It also appears as a continuing backer of CloudWalk Group, re-upping in the digital supply chain platform's roughly $600 million Series C2 in early 2021 . The available corpus does not extend to its core insurance operations or broader asset scale.
