Thin Red Line (细红线科技) is an AR hardware startup founded in June 2022 by serial entrepreneur Yonghao Luo (罗永浩), previously known for founding Smartisan . The company positions itself as building "the next-generation personal computing device platform after the smartphone" and aims to define an "Always on" AR product that enables new human-computer interaction in 3D environments . In November 2022, it raised approximately $50 million in an angel round led by Meituan Longzhu at a post-money valuation of roughly $200 million, with BlueRun Ventures, Lenovo Capital, Matrix Partners China, DJI Innovation, and ATM Capital among the followers . BlueRun Ventures, which has systematically invested across the XR supply chain including NOLO, Liangliang Vision, and tatame, described the bet as part of a broader push to help China's hardware and infrastructure ecosystems achieve global leadership in the next-generation internet .
