Tian Cheng (程天) is a partner at Shunwei Capital (顺为资本) . He joined the firm at least by 2021, when he appeared as a judge at the RTE2021 Innovation Competition co-hosted by Agora and 5Y Capital . In a late-2024 survey of 96 investors' decisions, 暗涌Waves quoted him reflecting on authenticity and "living as if starting over" — a philosophical turn that stood out in a year of crossroads for the industry .

On investment style, elsewhere's January 2026 reporting on China's "Six Little Tigers" of AI noted that Shunwei had placed bets on nearly every one of them, with Tian acknowledging that in the early stage "it's hard to see clearly — whether the thing or the person" . That same piece observed that while multiple partners at rival firms often led competing deals, at Shunwei the concentrated pattern suggested Tian himself was driving much of this AI-era deployment .
