Vbot (维他动力, Vitality Dynamics) is a Chinese consumer-grade embodied-AI robotics company — described in Qiming Venture Partners' coverage as "China's first consumer embodied intelligence company" — whose debut product is an intelligent companion robot dog, which it positions as a redefinition of the home smart companion . The company raised 300 million yuan within six months ahead of that first product launch, and co-founder Zhelun Zhao has been its public face, arguing that AI is the decisive factor in embodied intelligence . Rather than building everything in-house, Vbot has assembled a supply chain of listed, production-ready partners — JD.com, Volcano Engine, Horizon Robotics, Hesai, and EVE Energy among them — a deliberate signal, in Zhao's words, that "working with them means we're really doing mass production" . The robot dog itself, unveiled around the 2025 World Robot Conference, runs on Hesai's JT-series lidar (the two formalized a strategic partnership in April 2025) , and D-Robotics has credited itself with enabling the product's release .
