Vika (维格智数) is a Chinese enterprise-software startup founded in late 2019 by Chen Peilin, formerly CTO of Hey Tea and a Kingsoft architect, with a mission to give 1 billion people IT capabilities . Its core product, vika.cn (维格表), is an API-first "smart multidimensional spreadsheet" positioned as a next-generation data-collaboration tool — essentially a cloud-native relational database dressed as an Excel-like interface . Unlike no-code/low-code platforms, Vika emphasizes "high-code" extensibility: it launched with open APIs and open-source SDKs in Python, JavaScript, and Java from day one, aiming to let ordinary users build business systems in a day that would otherwise take programmers a year .

The company raised over $10 million across its Pre-A (led by Eminence Ventures with 5Y Capital following) and Pre-A+ rounds (led by Hillhouse with Eminence and 5Y following) in late 2020, after 5Y Capital had already led its angel+ round . It began public beta in October 2020 and planned commercial launch for March 2021 . As of 2025, the broader multidimensional-table category remains competitive in China, with Vika cited as a predecessor to newer entrants like Teable .
