Wenfeng Sang

Wenfeng Sang is the founder and CEO of Sensors Data (神策数据), a data analytics SaaS company he established in 2015 after leaving Baidu, where he had worked with several colleagues who became co-founders . A Zhejiang University graduate whose early ambition was to build software as influential as Windows, Sang has steered Sensors Data to a reported billion-dollar valuation with a product achieving near 100% renewal rates in what Linear Capital described as China's toughest SaaS market . In 2022 the company closed a $200 million Series D round, at which point Sang said the firm's strategy had become "very clear and firm" . More recently he has discussed Chinese entrepreneurs' expansion into Indonesia, appearing on 5Y Capital's podcast on the topic in 2024 .
