World Robot Conference

The World Robot Conference (WRC) is an annual global robotics exhibition held in Beijing, jointly hosted by the China Electronics Society and the World Robot Cooperation Organization, with support from Beijing's economic and information bureau and the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area administration . The 2024 edition ran August 21–25 with over 52,000 square meters of exhibition space, 150-plus domestic and international exhibitors, and more than 50 new product launches ; the 2025 edition, themed "让机器人更智慧，让具身体更智能" ("Making Robots Smarter, Making Embodied Intelligence More Intelligent"), gathered 200-plus companies showing 1,500-plus exhibits, including a record number of humanoid robot makers for any global show of its kind .

WRC has become a bellwether for embodied-intelligence trends and frontier-to-market translation, with exhibitors demonstrating robots dancing, delivering goods, folding laundry, and working assembly lines . The event also draws significant institutional participation: Yunqi Capital has repeatedly co-hosted themed forums and brought portfolio companies like Astribot, ZhiPingFang, and Qiling Tech to exhibit , while Source Code Capital and others have organized industry forums on commercialization and capital enablement .
