By late 2022, its Phase 1 project had reached 300,000 wafers per month in capacity—ranking first domestically—with Phase 2 construction underway targeting 1 million wafers per month at full operation, a scale that would place it among the world's top six suppliers . The company had already secured customer validations from multiple key domestic and international clients, with demand strong enough to lock in three years of future capacity . ESWIN Material completed a nearly RMB 4 billion Series C round in December 2022, bringing its total fundraising to over RMB 10 billion and setting a record for the largest single private financing in China's semiconductor silicon wafer industry; Source Code Capital participated as a follower in that round, alongside lead investor CNBM New Materials Fund and other institutions, while existing shareholders including China Life Equity Investment added to their stakes .
