Xingyun (行云集团) is a China-based consumer-goods digital supply-chain platform — 5Y Capital, one of its investors, described the thesis as building a "digital e-commerce supply-chain middle platform" as production, supply and sales increasingly decouple . In April 2021 it closed a roughly $600 million Series C2 round led by Yunfeng Capital with Crescent Point and Harvest Investments co-leading, and existing backers including Matrix Partners China, Taikang Life, 5Y Capital and HLC adding on ; Mirae Asset was among the follow-on investors . In August 2023 its founder-chairman Billy Wang Wei led a team into Huawei to discuss globalization enablement and ecosystem cooperation with Huawei Cloud, resulting in a comprehensive strategic partnership . One caveat: a 2024 暗涌Waves Under-36 piece names a "Xingyun founder Yu Ji" , which may refer to a different company of the same name — elsewhere's corpus doesn't clarify.
