Xinpeng Feng

Xinpeng Feng is the co-founder and CEO of NextVPU (肇观电子), a Shanghai-based AI chip startup he established in 2016 . Before founding the company, he spent over 14 years at AMD as a chip R&D director, where he built and led a global team of roughly 100 engineers and contributed to the design of more than 50 CPU and GPU chips that shipped in tens of millions of units . At NextVPU, his focus has been on providing visual-processing capabilities for autonomous devices — robots, vehicles, wearables, and industrial systems — that he anticipated would become ubiquitous over the following decade and a half . In 2019 he was named to China's national "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" (万人计划) . He has also been highlighted by FreeS Fund as one of its standout entrepreneurs in East China .
