The first通灵黑客松 will be held in Shanghai
An Accidental Intrusion into the Heavenly Palace

"Straying Into the Celestial Palace"
We've decided to hold a hackathon in Shanghai with a theme of mediumship.
You heard that right. We're taking "mediumship" — the most metaphysical thing imaginable — and "hackathon" — the most scientific thing imaginable — and smashing them together, full throttle.
Specifically, we're inviting 30 human psychics and 20 AI psychic agents to compete on the same stage.
Let's settle it: are human fortune-tellers more accurate, or is AI computational power more unhinged?

Think of it as Battle of the Psychics or Celestial Trial Grounds, but with API access.
Whether you read divination sticks or astrological charts, whether you practice Eastern mysticism or Western occultism, whether you're a Dongbei spirit medium doing the horse-dance ritual or a Nordic tarot practitioner running a black mass...
As long as you've made your mark in the broad domain of "mediumship," you're welcome to join our Psychic Hackathon and cheer for Team Human Fortune-Teller.
On the flip side, if you're convinced AI divination is the future, if you believe agents outperform arcanists, if you trust your AI-prompting skills tower six levels above some street-corner I Ching reader's interpretation abilities...
As long as you're willing to build — or have already built — a broadly defined "psychic agent," you're welcome to join our Psychic Hackathon and rally for Team AI Computational Power.
On the day of the hackathon, please bring your psychic tools, including but not limited to: tarot cards, crystal balls, turtle shells, divination stick holders, feng shui compasses, left and right eyes, left and right hands, or a laptop with a fully installed and debugged AI fortune-telling agent — and show us what you've got.
(Yes, please debug your AI fortune-telling agent at home. Don't be the one still getting GPT to respond while everyone else has already thrown six hexagrams.)
How does the competition work?
At the Psychic Hackathon, we'll release 5–10 puzzles whose answers cannot be found through search or reasoning, such as:
What is ███'s ██?
How did ████ █?
What is ███'s ██ at ██ today?
What does ██ want to say to ██?
...
After each puzzle is released, human psychics and AI psychic agent operators will have 10 minutes of divination time.
Once the 10 minutes are up, contestants will race to answer, then share their responses and process in random order — what you saw, what you heard, what you fed the AI, what it spat back out, all fair game for the crowd.
In the end, the fastest and most accurate diviners will receive our carefully prepared prizes.
If our Psychic Hackathon piques your interest, or if you simply think the people organizing it are out of their minds and want to come beat us up, you're both welcome to scan the QR code on the poster to register.

Time: April 19, 2–5 PM
Location: Xuhui District, Shanghai — details shared after registration
Expected attendance: ~50 people, first come first served.
If you're not in Shanghai or have other plans that day, no need for FOMO: we'll be livestreaming the entire event on Xiaohongshu and other platforms, so you too can throw a hexagram from behind your screen.
Tell you what — those in the know, go ahead and divine whether our Psychic Hackathon will go off without a hitch. Hoping to see some satisfying answers in the comments.
Finally, our sincere thanks to Mumian Capital and Tezign for their generous support of this event.
Note: The Psychic Hackathon will be audio and video recorded in full, and may subsequently be edited into a documentary for distribution across all platforms.
