High-end networking chip company **Zhuanxin** has completed its Series A2 funding round, targeting the AI computing network market.
Meeting the high-bandwidth networking demands of AI computing clusters.

Recently, Zhuanxin Semiconductor Nanjing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhuanxin") announced the completion of its nearly RMB 200 million Series A2 funding round, led by Longqiu Capital with follow-on investments from both new and existing shareholders including Ruiyue Investment, Ningmeng Investment, Junsheng Capital, Zhuoyuan Asia, and Huafang Capital. The proceeds will be used for technology R&D and product upgrades. Gaorong Ventures participated in Zhuanxin's angel round in 2022.
Founded in 2021, Zhuanxin focuses on high-end network chips and solutions with independent intellectual property rights, dedicated to building excellent network chips for the era of AI, cloud computing, and the Internet of Everything, serving domestic mainstream network equipment providers.

Communication Infrastructure for AI Large-Model Clusters
As the core component of network equipment, network chips serve as the foundational infrastructure enabling massive data interconnection across data centers, campus networks, bearer networks, and core backbone networks — the "information superhighways." With the development of large models and the continuous emergence of AI-native applications, market demand for computing power is growing rapidly, and AI-based large-scale data centers have strong demand for network chips.
Network chips function as the communication infrastructure for AI large-model clusters, needing to support high-speed data transmission between GPU processors, storage systems, and networks — playing a critical role in unlocking the computing power of AI clusters. The explosion of large models and AI-native applications has posed new challenges for computing-power interconnection networks, making ultra-high-performance, ultra-low-latency, lossless, and AI-optimized network chips a likely mainstream solution.

First High-End Network Chip Launching Soon
Zhuanxin's first chip, Lanting, is about to be released. Featuring high performance and programmable switching capabilities, it can be deployed across key infrastructure including cloud computing data centers, campus networks, and core backbone networks.
Zhuanxin Semiconductor stated: "Going forward, we will continue to focus on the high-end network chip space, persist in core technology innovation, maintain deep cooperation with industry players, and accelerate the rollout of a series of chip solutions with leading advantages in programmability and large capacity, to meet the high-bandwidth network demands of AI intelligent computing clusters."
