Powering a comprehensive upgrade of industrial intelligent manufacturing.

Recently, Ruben Technology announced the completion of its latest Series A+ round, raising tens of millions of RMB. CRRC Times Electric Investment, one of the investors in this round, will create strong business synergies with Ruben Technology and help drive the company's revenue growth. The proceeds will be primarily used for product R&D, talent development, and market expansion. Gaorong Ventures previously invested in Ruben Technology's angel round and Series A.

Founded in 2018, Ruben Technology specializes in developing 3D vision products and intelligent hand-eye workstations. The company holds significant advantages in 3D vision technology and robotic motion planning, and received high-tech enterprise certification in 2021.

Three Product Lines Powering Smart Manufacturing Upgrades

Ruben Technology has successively launched three product lines: the high-performance RVC industrial 3D camera series, the VDA 3D visual displacement analyzer, and the FLEX intelligent hand-eye workstation. These have been widely deployed across automotive, consumer electronics, heavy industry, footwear and apparel, industrial inspection, logistics, and other sectors, driving comprehensive upgrades in smart manufacturing.

The RVC series 3D cameras are built on the foundational principle of "born for the process," and the company has gradually established a complete product portfolio. It has released more than a dozen models spanning grasping, inspection, and process machining applications, with precision ranging from micron to millimeter level and maximum field of view reaching 3.5 meters — meeting diverse 3D vision application requirements.

Continuously investing in R&D around customer needs, the company introduced the Visual Displacement Analyzer (VDA) in 2019. Using computer vision to analyze continuous multi-frame images, it performs high-speed, high-precision analysis of 2D and 3D full-field strain displacement, multi-point displacement, average strain, velocity, acceleration, frequency spectra, modal information, and more. The product primarily serves spatial displacement monitoring and analysis needs in engineering, materials, municipal infrastructure, and transportation — including wind tunnel testing, shake table experiments, load testing, rail track monitoring and maintenance, bridge and building health assessment, and ancient building restoration.

By tightly integrating 3D vision technology, robotic arm motion planning, and vertical industry process requirements, Ruben Technology has introduced teach-free intelligent workstations with online visual recognition and real-time robotic path planning across multiple vertical industries. These can be deployed more quickly and effectively in low-volume, high-mix flexible manufacturing scenarios. Ruben Technology's intelligent hand-eye workstations are currently in use in subway, high-speed rail, 3C, automotive, footwear, and furniture applications.

Continuous Technology Innovation, Committed to Becoming a Leading Hand-Eye Product Provider

On the technology front, Ruben Technology's core team primarily comes from Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and other institutions, with over ten years of experience in 3D perception technology, digital image technology, and motion planning control. In 3D perception, the company uses self-developed dynamic fringe structured light technology, which dramatically improves anti-interference capabilities under ambient lighting. Combined with point cloud reconstruction algorithms, it achieves high-speed imaging even in high-precision modes. Its self-developed digital image technology reaches tracking precision of 0.001 pixels and completes 3D calibration within one minute. Meanwhile, its motion planning technology can generate optimal trajectories online without teaching, precisely controlling robot execution for various demanding process requirements.

Industrial automation is rapidly evolving toward intelligence and integration, achieving goals of increased output, reduced costs, and lower resource consumption. It plays an irreplaceable role across industries, creating vast opportunities for robotics and 3D vision products. Ruben Technology remains committed to a people-centric philosophy and its mission of "using technological hands and eyes to liberate human hands and eyes." With technology and product innovation as its core drivers, and with the goal of becoming a leading hand-eye product provider, the company adheres to being integration-friendly and works alongside partners to advance smart manufacturing and industrial upgrading.
