Shex Technology Completes Series A+ Round to Expand Industrial AI Generative Design Software Applications

Shixu Technology, an industrial AI generative design software and solutions provider, recently completed an A+ funding round led jointly by Ameba Capital, Yonghua Capital, and returning investor Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group. The proceeds will go toward expanding into new business scenarios, product R&D, and sales and marketing. Gaorong Ventures participated in Shixu Technology's angel round in early 2021 and doubled down in subsequent Pre-A and A rounds.
Founded in 2020, Shixu Technology applies AI technology to improve efficiency and quality across industrial design, simulation, process engineering, and manufacturing, built on its self-developed AIGE (AI for Engineering) data structure. The founding team brings years of experience in intelligent manufacturing and AI algorithm development. Founder and CEO Dr. Yongrong Wu has a decade of experience in automotive manufacturing, having previously worked at General Electric and NIO.
Industrial Intelligent Generative Design Software "Shanshe"
Shixu Technology has launched its core product, "Shanshe" (Flash Design). This industrial intelligent generative design software leverages geometric modeling and AI technologies to provide intelligent generation and intelligent interaction capabilities on a cloud architecture. It is currently deployed across multiple design domains in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Industrial design in automotive and related fields still faces unresolved pain points. Design engineers must repeatedly build component models and modify sketches from scratch. After designs are completed, collaboration across simulation and other stages often lags, feedback is difficult to consolidate, and overall efficiency suffers. Shixu Technology introduces AI into the design process: trained on industry data, the AI can interpret engineer input commands to model and generate sketches; when adjustments are needed, the AI can intelligently modify relevant parts on the original drawing without requiring complete remodeling through traditional drafting methods.
Compared to traditional industrial software, Shixu Technology's product enables intelligent generation during the design phase, reducing cumbersome manual operations. Cloud technology cuts local deployment costs and facilitates real-time collaboration. Wu said, "In mature scenarios, our AI product can generate hundreds of sketches in minutes, improving design-phase efficiency by more than 10x and shortening delivery cycles."
Expanding Industries, Enhancing Model Capabilities
Shixu Technology's "Shanshe" AI product currently covers leading manufacturers in automotive and aerospace manufacturing, with plans to expand into additional industries this year. National Bureau of Statistics data shows the automotive equipment market has reached trillion-yuan scale, while the aerospace equipment market has exceeded 100 billion yuan. Since beginning commercial operations in 2021, Shixu Technology has doubled revenue annually.
On the model front, Shixu Technology continues to scale the parameters and data volume of its self-developed generative models based on data and industry scenarios, improving generation accuracy and iterating algorithm performance. The company has also integrated natural language large models on top of its generative models, enabling command input to enhance software interaction.
