Aozhe Closes Hundreds-of-Millions-of-Yuan Series C Round, Making Digital Transformation Accessible Through Low-Code
Grew rapidly for three consecutive years and kicked off full commercialization.

Shenzhen-based enterprise digitalization service provider Aozhe Network Technology (hereinafter "Aozhe") recently announced the completion of a Series C financing round worth hundreds of millions of RMB. The round was led by Maixing Investment and Oriental Fortune Capital, with follow-on investments from existing shareholders Huatai Innovation, Gaorong Ventures, and CE Innovation Capital. Gaorong Ventures had led Aozhe's Series B round in 2019 and has continued to invest in subsequent rounds.
The proceeds will primarily be used to strengthen regional on-the-ground services and further expand market presence, helping Chinese enterprises embrace digitalization through low-code solutions and making digital transformation more accessible.

Digital-Native Business: Low-Code as the "Optimal Solution" for Enterprise Digitalization
As more enterprises accelerate their digital and intelligent transformation, low-code solutions — which balance customization with agility — are experiencing explosive growth. According to Haibi Research Institute, China's low-code market will see a compound annual growth rate of 49.5% over the next three years, expanding from 4.26 billion RMB in 2022 to a projected 14.22 billion RMB by 2025.
Aozhe founder and CEO Pingjun Xu notes that in the digital era, enterprise applications are growing exponentially, and low-code approaches can help companies build systems more efficiently, respond faster to market changes, and bring business operations to fruition more quickly.
Today, enterprise digitalization is evolving from the business digitalization stage and the digital business stage toward the digital-native business stage. "In the digital-native business stage, all employees will be able to build digital systems as easily as using a smartphone, directly implementing their own business ideas," Xu said. "The ultimate goal of low-code is to achieve digital-native business."

Three Consecutive Years of High Growth, Entering Full Commercialization
Nearly six years have passed since Aozhe's first low-code product, "Chuan Cloud," launched on DingTalk in 2016. The company has now entered the full commercialization phase of low-code, achieving comprehensive development across capital, technology, products, and services.
On the technology front, Aozhe has consistently invested 30% of revenue into R&D for ten consecutive years, building deep expertise in core low-code domains including model-driven architecture, process engines, rule engines, UI engines, and data analytics engines — ranking first among domestic vendors in patent holdings. Globally, only Aozhe and Force.com possess self-developed compiler capabilities. In the Chinese market, Aozhe holds exclusive proprietary page engine technology, and its "Aozhe · Yunshu" is the only low-code product with business middle-platform capabilities. Additionally, technical staff comprise 80% of Aozhe's workforce, with core team members hailing from leading companies such as Microsoft, Huawei, Tencent, and Alibaba, bringing both B2B technology entrepreneurship experience and over a decade of R&D expertise.
Aozhe has built a comprehensive product-market fit matrix: "Chuan Cloud," a development tool for digital administrators; "Aozhe · Yunshu," a digital engine for professional developers; "Aozhe · H3 BPM," a process management engine; and "Aozhe · Youge," a digital management tool for business personnel.

Aozhe product matrix
As of 2021, Aozhe has served more than 200,000 enterprise organizations, including 60% of China's top 500 companies and numerous industry benchmark enterprises. Among these, Yunshu serves over 300 large and medium-sized enterprise clients, covering more than 2 million end users. Since launching on the DingTalk app marketplace in 2016, Chuan Cloud has consistently ranked first in sales, capturing one-third of the market share among comparable low-code products. During DingTalk's 2021 Double 11 enterprise services festival, Chuan Cloud's GMV was the first to break 10 million RMB, setting a record for the fastest time to reach that milestone in DingTalk's open platform history.
Aozhe's products serve both large enterprises — in sectors such as finance, construction, manufacturing, supply chain, and energy — and small and medium-sized clients in construction, trade, fast-moving consumer goods, and enterprise services. Drawing on extensive service experience across this range of businesses, Aozhe has developed a mature solutions system encompassing industry-specific digital solutions, domain-specific digital solutions, and digital solutions for government and public services.

Bringing Low-Code to Millions of Enterprises, Delivering Real Value
To date, Aozhe has established nine regional service centers across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Qingdao, and Xi'an, forming a hub-and-spoke network that extends localized services to over 200 large and medium-sized cities nationwide. The company has also built an ecosystem partner network comprising 500 partner service providers, with channel coverage spanning 34 provinces and municipalities.
On the delivery front, Aozhe maintains a mature implementation team and delivery system. Its core consulting advisors average over 15 years of work experience, and the company has achieved a 90% on-time delivery rate across its service history.
This combination of a comprehensive product matrix and digital solutions, strong service capabilities, and reliable delivery capacity constitutes the company's moat. In 2022, Aozhe will deepen its regional presence with a "9+1" layout, improving operational and service quality to move closer to its customers.
"As an enabler advancing the digitalization of millions of Chinese enterprises, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to actively embrace this intelligent era," Xu said, "helping them rapidly build core digital capabilities and join the surging wave of industrial intelligence." Going forward, Aozhe will help more enterprises achieve digitalization more easily through low-code, continuously lowering product barriers and overall digitalization costs to make low-code solutions more universally accessible.
