We have completed a multi-pipeline layout covering soft-tissue surgical robots and other major specialty surgical robots.

Cornerstone Robotics, a leader in innovative surgical robot technology, recently announced the completion of its Series B funding round, raising 500 million RMB. The round attracted several well-known industry investors, including Lilly Asia Ventures, Meituan Longzhu, and New World Development Group, while existing shareholders Gaorong Ventures, Qiming Venture Partners, Qingsong Capital, and K2VC continued to increase their investments. Gaorong Ventures had co-led Cornerstone Robotics' angel round in 2019 and has invested in every subsequent round since.

The proceeds will primarily fund R&D for surgical robots, clinical trials, market launch and promotion, new product development, and the construction of cutting-edge technology platforms — enabling patients in China and globally to access high-end medical services more quickly.

Founded in September 2019, Cornerstone Robotics was established by a team of world-class surgical robot experts with decades of industry experience. The company is dedicated to developing innovative surgical robots and has built a multi-product pipeline spanning soft-tissue surgical robots and other major specialty applications. It has completed development of its multi-port laparoscopic surgical robot product, which is now rapidly advancing into clinical trials. The product has earned unanimous praise from top clinical experts both domestically and abroad for its smooth operation, precise control, realistic visualization, and outstanding performance — placing Cornerstone at the forefront of domestic technology. After two years of rapid growth, the company has established R&D centers in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and the United States, assembled a professional team of several hundred people, and built out its foundational technology and industrialization platforms. It has fully mastered and achieved independent R&D of core technologies including mechanical architecture, electrical architecture, software architecture, complex algorithms, and visual imaging systems. Going forward, Cornerstone Robotics will continue to focus on and meet the core clinical demands for surgical robots that are safe, effective, and reliable, while actively advancing the regulatory approval and market launch of its high-quality products in China and worldwide to serve patients and healthcare providers globally.

Cornerstone Robotics' vision is to build a safe and efficient surgical robot platform, continuously push the boundaries of medicine, enable more patients and healthcare providers to benefit from advanced medical devices, and increase the accessibility of high-end medical services in China and around the world. Dr. Samuel Au, founder of Cornerstone Robotics, stated: "We are grateful to our new and existing shareholders for their strong recognition of and steadfast support for Cornerstone Robotics. We also thank all Cornerstone employees for their unwavering commitment to our corporate vision. Since our founding, Cornerstone has adhered to our original mission of building safe and efficient surgical robots, insisted on independent R&D of core technologies, constructed complete system platforms, and always prioritized meeting real clinical needs through continuous innovation to solve fundamental industry pain points. After two years of rapid development, the company has completed its global three-region business layout and earned full affirmation from top clinical experts worldwide for our product performance. Going forward, Cornerstone will further accelerate new product development, advance clinical trials and commercialization, and quickly deliver safe, efficient, and trustworthy high-quality surgical robot products and services to frontline clinicians in China and globally, benefiting more healthcare workers and patients worldwide."
