Xpeng AeroHT Raises Nearly $200 Million, Advances Flying Car Toward Commercial Mass Production
A global leader in low-altitude product innovation.

Huitian (汇天) recently announced the completion of a new equity funding round of nearly $200 million, with participation from Gaorong Ventures. Other investors in the round include Hillhouse, HSG, and Fortune Venture Capital. Following this round, Huitian's total historical equity financing has reached approximately $1 billion.

In recent years, policy tailwinds have injected strong momentum into the low-altitude economy's development. This year's government work report at the National People's Congress once again proposed cultivating and expanding emerging industries and future industries, with a focus on building low-altitude economy into a new pillar industry — marking the third consecutive year that "low-altitude economy" has been written into the government work report.
Huitian is a global leader in low-altitude product innovation and Asia's largest flying car company. The firm believes that "future personal mobility will extend from the ground into the air." By revolutionizing and applying core technologies from both new energy vehicles and aviation, Huitian is committed to creating safe, intelligent, accessible low-altitude flying products for everyone. Starting with its first mass-produced modular flying car, the company continues to roll out products for diverse scenarios including personal flight experiences, aerial commuting, and end-to-end three-dimensional transportation — driving the popularization of low-altitude flight so that everyone can enjoy the freedom and convenience of flying.

Flying Cars Roll Off the Pilot Production Line
Currently, Huitian is steadily advancing across all business lines. The world's first mass-production factory using modern assembly lines to manufacture aircraft has essentially completed construction and entered pilot production as of September 2025, providing ample capacity and resource guarantees for the high-quality delivery of the Land Aircraft Carrier and subsequent product series.
Located in Guangzhou's Huangpu District, the Huitian flying car mass-production factory covers approximately 120,000 square meters. At full capacity, one aircraft can roll off the line every 30 minutes — a groundbreaking move that brings automotive assembly line methods into the aviation sector, achieving a leap forward in scale, efficiency, and quality consistency.

During the 2026 National People's Congress session, at the Huitian flying car mass-production factory, five Land Aircraft Carrier aircraft completed pilot production and rolled off the line on the same day, followed by multi-aircraft test flights. This not only validated Huitian's scaled manufacturing capabilities in the flying car sector, but also marked the transition of low-altitude mobility products from the R&D verification phase to commercial mass-production readiness.

A New Era of Low-Altitude Flight Scenario Exploration
At the same time, Huitian, together with Guangzhou City Investment Group and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Fifth Electronics Research Institute, jointly launched the Guangzhou Haixinsha Full-Space Intelligent Experience Center (Haixinsha Tech Island) under a "1+1+N" model to explore low-altitude flight scenarios. On the same day as the pilot production rollout and multi-aircraft test flights, at the Haixinsha Tech Island's dedicated takeoff and landing point, the Land Aircraft Carrier completed its automatic separation process. Huitian pilots then slowly lifted the Land Aircraft Carrier aircraft into the air, flying in a loop around the Haixinsha Experience Center, successfully completing manned flight scenario verification — the first real-world manned flight validation for Haixinsha Tech Island as a benchmark low-altitude economy scenario.

From factory pilot production to real-world manned flight exploration, Huitian is accelerating commercial low-altitude economy deployment through a dual-engine drive of "products + scenarios."
