This strategic investment will empower AIPARK's AIoT smart hardware supply chain and accelerate its market expansion.

Recently, Aipark (智慧互通), a leading enterprise in "city-level smart parking and static/dynamic traffic management," announced that it has received strategic investment from Xiaomi. This investment will help advance business synergies between Aipark and Xiaomi's smart ecosystem across multiple scenarios. Gaorong Ventures invested in Aipark in 2017 and led the company's Series C financing round in June 2020.

Aipark has always been committed to making cities better through artificial intelligence technology. Its pioneering city-level smart parking management solution integrates high-position video parking management technology, VSA (Vehicle State Awareness) technology, and AI Super Eye holographic perception technology. This enables city managers to comprehensively perceive the spatiotemporal state of vehicles throughout the urban transportation network, forming a city-level vehicle state awareness network map. It has become a new type of AIoT infrastructure applied to comprehensive traffic governance, key public security prevention and control, and integrated municipal management.

Powered by the robust algorithm family of VSA technology, the system can real-time perceive vehicle states, behaviors, and trends within monitored areas. It completes vehicle positioning and tracking, behavior recognition, vehicle model identification, driving trajectories, and vehicle REID recognition — achieving intelligent connectivity between smart vehicles and smart roads. Through strong user binding with vehicle owners via its consumer-facing app, it realizes "one platform, seamless parking citywide."

In 2020, Aipark completed four financing rounds and was recognized by the industry as a unicorn enterprise in the smart parking sector. Currently, Aipark has established core technology systems including "contextual intelligent recognition," "edge-cloud collaborative integrated architecture," and "fine-grained vehicle behavior recognition in complex static traffic scenarios." It has accumulated nearly 300 core patents in artificial intelligence, big data, and smart hardware. The company has been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's innovation project for deep integration of AI and the real economy, and has received multiple awards including the "MIIT AI Demonstration Project Award," "Wen Jun AI Science and Technology Award," "AI Outstanding Product and Application Solution Award," and "China Design Red Star Award."

Implementation capability is the touchstone for testing the core competitiveness of AI enterprises. Currently, Aipark's city-level smart parking solution has been commercially deployed in nearly 30 cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang, Shanghai, Tianjin, Fuzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xining, Guiyang, Lanzhou, Jinan, Hohhot, Changchun, Handan, Zhangjiakou, Tangshan, Bozhou, Chifeng, Zengcheng, Rugao, Xianning, Yangshuo, Jieyang, Shenyang, and Huai'an.

Yan Jun, founder and chairman of Aipark, stated: "After six years of accumulation, Aipark has developed into a leading enterprise in the static traffic sector. This strategic investment from Xiaomi will empower the company's AIoT smart hardware supply chain system and accelerate our nationwide market expansion."
