The largest single financing round in China's AI application sector so far in 2025.
On October 23, AI application company LiblibAI announced the completion of a $130 million Series B funding round, jointly led by HSG, CMC Capital, and a strategic investor, with multiple existing shareholders making additional investments beyond their pro-rata rights. Gaorong Ventures had previously co-led LiblibAI's angel round in 2023.
As AI applications accelerate in 2025, both the industry and capital markets are increasingly focused on AI platforms capable of translating multimodal capabilities into real-world creation, production, and consumption scenarios. LiblibAI's latest round represents the largest financing in China's AI application sector to date this year.
Founded in late 2023, LiblibAI has grown through the explosion of open-source visual creation to become China's largest multimodal model and creator community.
