Raysolve Raises Nearly 100 Million Yuan in Pre-A4 Funding to Accelerate Commercialization of Near-Eye Displays and Optical Interconnects
Focused on core Micro-LED technology, advancing the commercialization of near-eye displays and optical interconnects
Raysolve recently announced the completion of a Pre-A4 funding round of nearly 100 million yuan, led by CMB International, with participation from Fengtu Capital and an unnamed industry investor. Gaorong Ventures led Raysolve's Pre-A round in 2021 and has participated in subsequent rounds. The new funding will be used primarily for technology and product iteration, application validation, and industry partnerships, further advancing Raysolve's commercialization in near-eye displays and optical interconnects.
Over the past few years, the Micro-LED industry has undergone continuous technological breakthroughs, route validation, and application exploration. Today, with the rapid development of AI, smart terminals, and computing infrastructure, near-eye displays and high-speed optical interconnects are generating new industry demand — and Micro-LED is entering a phase of value reassessment. Its value is no longer confined to being "a better display device"; it is increasingly emerging as a micro-scale optoelectronic technology platform that combines semiconductor manufacturing attributes, high-density array capabilities, and efficient light output.
Amid this shift, the value of different technology routes is also being re-examined: true long-term competitiveness lies not in leading on any single metric, but in building complete capabilities spanning core technology, wafer processes, product iteration, and application validation — and in delivering value at the critical moments when industry demand takes shape. Raysolve has long focused on core Micro-LED technology and, building on this foundation, is steadily advancing commercialization in both near-eye displays and optical interconnects.
In near-eye displays, Raysolve continues to iterate its monolithic full-color Micro-LED microdisplay products based on quantum dot photolithography (QDPR) technology. It has built out a product series and is working with several leading companies in Europe and the US to jointly develop AR/MR prototypes and conduct system-level validation. As end devices demand display solutions with higher brightness, smaller form factors, and greater integration, Micro-LED microdisplays are accelerating their move from core components to system-level applications.

In optical interconnects, Raysolve began exploring the technology as early as 2021, steadily validating key capabilities including high-speed modulation, high-density parallel channels, efficient light output, and low crosstalk. The company is now engaged in deep collaborative exploration with multiple leading optical interconnect and optical module manufacturers, advancing its solutions into functional validation, performance optimization, and end-application validation. The growing need for high-speed, high-density, low-power connectivity driven by expanding AI computing is opening up new industry space for this direction.
From technology accumulation to application validation to industry partnerships, Micro-LED is gradually entering a new phase of value realization. The completion of this Pre-A4 round reflects further recognition from both capital markets and industry players of Raysolve's long-term technology accumulation and commercialization path.
