Shexu Technology Raises Tens of Millions of RMB in Angel Round to Build Industrial Intelligent Design and Manufacturing Cloud Platform

Recently, Shanghai Shexu Technology Co., Ltd. ("Shexu Technology"), an AI-powered industrial SaaS software provider, announced the completion of a tens-of-millions-of-RMB angel round. The round was led by K2VC, with Gaorong Ventures participating and Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group making a strategic investment. The funds will be used primarily to increase R&D investment and accelerate the iteration and upgrading of the company's SaaS software products.
Founded in 2020, Shexu Technology is dedicated to "building an industrial intelligent design and manufacturing cloud platform." The company has launched its AI+CAD automated design SaaS software — the Design Order 2.0 system. This software integrates AI technology into industrial CAD design, leveraging extensive industrial data, domain expertise in industrial design, and deep learning algorithms to help industrial customers dramatically improve efficiency across design, simulation, process planning, and manufacturing workflows, compressing design tasks that previously took dozens of hours down to minutes. Shexu Technology initially focused on fixture design within automotive industrial equipment — a critical category ripe for AI-assisted automation due to the need to adapt to product features and the inherent complexity of design structures. Through the Shexu Technology platform, 3D design time for a single set of tooling fixtures is reduced from 50 hours to 5 minutes, 2D drawing generation from 30 hours to 5 minutes, and BOM production from 2 hours to 1 minute. The Design Order 2.0 system has already reached commercial readiness; customers need only import their design requirements to achieve fully automated design processes. Additionally, Shexu Technology provides comprehensive engineering services to industrial clients, combining software systems with engineer support to help customers improve design efficiency and reduce costs.
In its early days, Shexu Technology received seed funding from HGZN and took on automotive equipment design projects from the company. Shexu Technology has also established partnerships with major domestic equipment manufacturers, including SAIC and Tesla equipment suppliers such as Tianjin Fuzhen and Jiangsu Beiren. As AI technology advances and demand for digital transformation in China's industrial design sector grows, domestic AI industrial design software providers with proprietary R&D capabilities will become important drivers of the industry. Shexu Technology CEO Yongrong Wu stated that the company will further expand its value chain coverage, extending its SaaS software services to the full spectrum of automotive equipment design including molds, inspection fixtures, and stamping part automation design, while gradually expanding into 3C, food, pharmaceutical, and other industrial sectors.
