Vitaeon Therapeutics Completes $200 Million Series B Round to Develop Transformative Therapies for Aging-Related Degenerative Diseases
Transforming the treatment paradigm for age-related degenerative diseases, improving quality of life for millions of patients and families worldwide.

On August 2, Sironax announced the completion of its Series B financing. As an emerging biotech company, Sironax is dedicated to discovering and developing innovative therapeutics for age-related degenerative diseases on a global scale. The round raised $200 million, co-led by Yunfeng Capital and Gaorong Ventures. Existing investors including Temasek, Invus, F-Prime Capital, Eight Roads, ARCH Venture Partners, and K2VC's Qiyun fund participated, alongside new investors MSA Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADIA, CBC Group, Jiangyuan Capital, Zhongguancun Development Group / Life Science Park Venture Capital Fund, Superstring Capital, and Future Innovation Fund. Following this round, the company's total capital raised has exceeded $300 million.

Sironax's R&D pipeline comprises multiple programs focused on the pathogenic mechanisms of age-related degenerative diseases, including programmed cell death, neuroprotective pathways, and neuroinflammation. The company plans to use the proceeds for clinical development of receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) inhibitors, and to further expand its R&D capabilities and pipeline, developing potential best-in-class and first-in-class drug candidates targeting age-related degenerative diseases.

"We are very pleased to have the support of top-tier investors, enabling us to realize our vision of bringing transformative therapies to patients worldwide affected by degenerative diseases," said Dr. Gang Ren, CEO of Sironax. "Based on a series of groundbreaking scientific discoveries, including much of the work by our co-founder Academician Xiaodong Wang, Sironax has built a robust and novel pipeline targeting multiple key signaling pathways in the pathogenesis of degenerative diseases, encompassing both small-molecule chemical drugs and large-molecule biologics. With this financing, we will continue to advance our existing clinical-stage programs while also having the confidence to move more R&D projects into the clinic."
A Gaorong Ventures representative stated: "As scientific understanding of degenerative diseases continues to deepen, clinical and therapeutic needs in this field are growing increasingly urgent. As a rapidly growing clinical-stage company, Sironax has established a powerful pipeline in the degenerative disease space and has demonstrated excellent safety and promising efficacy signals in early clinical trials. We are delighted to partner with the Sironax team to support the advancement of its degenerative disease pipeline, benefiting patients globally and improving their quality of life."
