Investors include Gaorong Ventures, Pine VC, Qunqing Juneng, Dashu Changqing, and ZhenFund.
The proceeds will be used for continued technological innovation in zinc-iron flow batteries, as well as the construction and commissioning of multiple gigawatt-capacity "super-G factories." The goal is to significantly reduce the levelized cost of storage (LCOS) for flow batteries while expanding production capacity, empowering energy storage system integrators, renewable power plants, grid operators, energy storage stations, and commercial and industrial users including EV charging station operators with technology and products — contributing to the early realization of China's dual-carbon goals.
