Staying true to our mission as "protein craftsmen."

Yinjia (Shanghai) Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yinjia Biotech"), a leading domestic protein technology platform in China, recently completed a nearly RMB 100 million Series A funding round led by CMB International, with Suzhou Xinhe Guoqing Fund participating. Since its founding in late 2020, Yinjia Biotech has completed three rounds of funding totaling several hundred million RMB, with investors including CDH Investments, Gaorong Ventures, and Furong Investment. Gaorong Ventures led Yinjia Biotech's Pre-A round in 2021.

This funding round will provide ample assurance for the company to further strengthen its overseas expansion and deepen collaboration with global enterprises. In addition to continuing to solidify its distinctive protein optimization platform, Yinjia Biotech is also enhancing its capabilities in microbial-based genetic engineering and protein engineering, accelerating the development of a new synthetic biology technology platform to provide new options for the development of various innovative high-end proteins.

Developing World-Class

High-Quality, Hard-to-Imitate, Highly Stable Protein Raw Materials

Over the past two years since its founding, Yinjia Biotech has focused on high-barrier core protein raw materials while actively developing companion diagnostic products for innovative therapies, a field that has matured considerably in recent years.

To date, Yinjia Biotech has successfully developed over 50 types of high-end proteins, covering cutting-edge applications in cell therapy, mRNA vaccines and circular RNA, new drug R&D, molecular diagnostics, and companion diagnostics for oncology drugs. Among these are multiple protein raw materials that were the first to be successfully developed in China, including calcineurin (PP2B), adenylyl cyclase, non-viral vector-specific proteins for cell therapy, and novel antibodies for liver and gastric cancer companion diagnostics. Additionally, a range of raw materials rivaling imported products — including sequencing-grade recombinant trypsin, diagnostic quality controls, and protein cytokines — have received high recognition from customers.

Yinjia Biotech currently operates R&D centers in Shanghai's Pujiang Town Science Park in Minhang District and in Beijing's Yizhuang Development Zone, with a GMP production facility in Suzhou Industrial Park.

Upholding the Mission of "Protein Craftsmanship"

Building Broad Industry Chain Partnerships

Since its inception, Yinjia Biotech has placed great emphasis on external collaboration to build an industrial ecosystem. Over the past year, Yinjia Biotech has established R&D partnerships with over 30 globally leading life science enterprises and research institutions, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Immunology, SPH Kexin, ZymoChem, and Quanxin Quanyi, efficiently driving the launch of a series of innovative products.

Dr. Yifei Wu, founder and CEO of Yinjia Biotech, stated, "Yinjia Biotech has always stayed true to its original aspiration, steadfastly committed to our mission of becoming a 'protein craftsman' serving the global life sciences sector and beyond. We will continue to develop high-quality, hard-to-imitate, highly stable, and cost-effective high-end protein raw materials that benchmark against world-class international brands, contributing to the rapid development of the industry. We also fully recognize that the R&D and production of core raw materials involves numerous disciplines, complex processes, high barriers, and a vast array of categories — it is the intersection of interdisciplinary fields and the source of innovation. This requires broader collaboration mechanisms and the collective efforts of the entire industry chain. The successful completion of this new funding round will propel us to go further and more steadily in deepening and broadening our comprehensive protein platform, as well as in our strategic layout of the new synthetic biology platform."

Going forward, Yinjia Biotech will continue to enhance the development and process optimization efficiency of multi-category high-end proteins to meet large-scale industrial demands. As its platform matures and iterates, Yinjia Biotech's technologies and products will become increasingly adaptable across industries, providing stable and reliable products and services to more sectors.
