Recently, Chinese AI company Zhuiyi Technology announced a strategic funding round of several hundred million RMB from China Internet Investment Fund and China Mobile Innovation Industry Fund, with Gaorong Ventures and 5Y Capital also making follow-on investments. Gaorong Ventures led Zhuiyi's Series A round in 2016 and has continued to participate in subsequent rounds.

The strategic funding will be primarily directed toward AI core technology and product R&D, emerging business and market expansion, and industrial ecosystem partnerships.
