Linear Capital portfolio company Hongjing Drive has entered a strategic partnership with Lianyou Zhilian to jointly advance mass production of intelligent driving systems.

On September 5, Hangzhou Hongjing Intelligent Driving Technology Co., Ltd. ("Hongjing Intelligent Driving") and Lianyou Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd. ("Lianyou Zhilian") signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two companies will collaborate closely in autonomous driving solutions and other business areas, jointly enhancing their respective commercial value, achieving complementary strengths, and working together to advance the deployment of autonomous driving solutions while providing leading technical support and product services to automakers.

Under the agreement, both parties will jointly explore the development and scenario application of intelligent driving technology and in-vehicle software and hardware products, creating competitive intelligent driving solutions based on new technologies and products. They will also maintain information sharing on product roadmaps, product portfolios, and development toolchains while jointly expanding their partner and customer networks. Additionally, the two companies will conduct in-depth cooperation across both passenger and commercial vehicle intelligent driving applications, jointly pursuing forward-looking technology R&D to accelerate multi-scenario deployment of intelligent driving.

Founded in 2021, Lianyou Zhilian is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Lianyou Technology Co., Ltd. The company focuses on R&D in intelligent connectivity, in-vehicle intelligent terminals, intelligent driving technology, automotive engineering, and automotive design, with key product lines in intelligent connectivity, intelligent driving, and intelligent cockpit — supporting the advancement of automotive intelligence. Lianyou Zhilian independently develops in-vehicle terminal products covering 4G/5G T-Box, 5G V2X T-Box, in-vehicle intelligent antenna terminals, intelligent roadside units (RSU), gateways, and automotive-grade modules for intelligent connectivity; five-screen displays and phone-to-vehicle connectivity head units for intelligent cockpit; and intelligent driving products including the automatic parking domain controller YDU1.0, driving planning and control module YDU1.5, integrated driving-parking domain controller YDU2.0 Pro, integrated driving-parking domain controller YDU2.0 Lite, and intelligent front-view integrated camera MFC 1.0 — helping automakers realize a smart "people·vehicle·life" mobility experience.

Hongjing Intelligent Driving continues to develop advanced intelligent driving solutions while deepening its presence in mass production of intelligent driving systems. In the first half of 2023, the company released its advanced intelligent driving system solution based on next-generation BEV perception technology, leveraging high-compute chips and more advanced software algorithms to achieve a "perception-heavy, map-light" intelligent driving approach. It also introduced cost-effective new products including a single Journey 3 integrated driving-parking domain controller and single Journey 3 intelligent camera module, with the former currently standing as the "performance value king" on the market. Based on a single-SoC integrated driving-parking domain controller with flexible sensor configurations, it enables low-cost, premium-experience highway navigation assist driving.

This partnership combines complementary strengths to accelerate mass production and deployment of intelligent driving, build a more diverse intelligent driving ecosystem, and help more traditional vehicles transition to intelligence.
