LingShu AI Elected Co-Lead Unit, Contributing to National IT Standardization Committee's Convergence Technology and Application Standards Working Group

On May 26, 2022, Guo Wenwei, founder & CEO of LingShu Intelligent, attended as co-chair of the overall working group at the inaugural meeting and first plenary session of the Convergence Technology and Application Standards Working Group (TC28/WG29, hereafter referred to as "the Standards Working Group") under the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee. Chai Tianyou, chair of the Standards Working Group and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote speech on "Development Directions for Industrial Intelligence." Also present were deputy chairs of the Standards Working Group: Ao Li, chief engineer of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology; Wang Baoyou, chief engineer of the China Academy of Industrial Internet; Wan Juyong, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Fifth Electronic Research Institute; Ding Jinliang, professor at Northeastern University (recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the Chang Jiang Scholars Program); Wang Qingzhu, vice president of XCMG Construction Machinery; and Zhang Dong, technology director for industrial internet innovation and development at China Telecom.

The Convergence Technology and Application Standards Working Group (TC28/WG29) is dedicated to systematically advancing the development, revision, and application of technology and application standards for the integration of next-generation information technologies with manufacturing, including industrial internet platforms, cyber-physical systems, and digital transformation in manufacturing.

At the meeting, Wang Jianwei, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Department of Information Technology Development, noted that convergence development has become a defining theme of the era, and standards serve as a critical lever for advancing this integration. The working group should fully unlock the value of standardization, accelerate the construction, promotion, and ecosystem cultivation of industrial internet platforms, CPS, and digital transformation in manufacturing, with a focus on organizational coordination, development of key standards, and practical application of standards.

As co-chair of the overall working group, LingShu Intelligent actively contributed insights on the development of industry-critical standards and the practical application of standards, drawing on its accumulated expertise in production management systems and hands-on experience implementing industry best practices.
