Over the past few years, we've made numerous investments in technical founders with backgrounds from Europe's top universities and research institutes. Several have become standout portfolio companies, including Agile Robots, Ruiweishi, Aosuogena, Dishi Medical, Lu'er New Materials, Aosuboxin, and Ruixin Manufacturing — with founders hailing from institutions such as the German Aerospace Center, Cambridge University, and the Max Planck Institute. These investments have only reinforced our conviction: technical entrepreneurs emerging from Europe's excellent universities and research institutes have the capacity to grow into outstanding technology business leaders, bringing the value of frontier technologies to broader audiences.
Due to pandemic constraints, we've maintained remote connections with European frontier technology researchers through our Linear Fellow program in recent years. This year, we're traveling to the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and France in person, co-hosting events with local student associations and labs to meet more of you face-to-face!
From April 9–11, we'll be holding events with the Zhejiang University UK Alumni Association (April 9), Oxford Life Sciences Society (April 10), Oxford Union/Oxford Student Union (April 10), and Cambridge University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (April 11). After the UK, we'll continue on to Munich (April 16) and Zurich (April 21) for events co-hosted with local Chinese professional organizations. We welcome friends working in frontier technology in these cities to follow our event updates and connect with us.
